iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max
Apple has now confirmed the core upgrades. The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max use the new A20 Pro, with a 6-core CPU, 7-core GPU with Neural Accelerators and a Dual 16-core Neural Engine. Apple says the new chip and next-generation vapor chamber deliver major sustained-performance improvements, while the phones also add a redesigned Dynamic Island and faster wired charging. The camera system now includes a 48MP Fusion Main camera with variable aperture, plus 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide and Telephoto cameras.
What about the foldable iPhone?
Apple also officially introduced iPhone Duo, its first foldable iPhone. Apple India says it has a 7.6-inch inner display and a 5.4-inch outer display, uses the A20 Pro chip and starts at ₹2,99,900 in India. Pre-orders begin 16 October 2026, with availability from 23 October 2026. This makes iPhone Duo a separate premium option rather than an iPhone 18 Pro variant.
When is the regular iPhone 18 coming?
