technew.cloud is an independent technology site. The goal is simple: explain how the electronics and technology you use actually work, and what their specifications really mean, in plain language — so you can understand your gadgets and make better buying decisions without wading through jargon or hype.
What we publish
- Electronics and gadgets, explained — plain-English explainers on phones, laptops, graphics cards, wearables and everyday consumer electronics: what the spec-sheet terms mean (chipset tiers, display types, RAM, storage, charging, VRAM), which numbers actually matter for real use, and how the technology works.
- Buying guides and comparisons — “best for the money” guides and side-by-side comparisons that name the specs that decide the purchase and spell out the trade-offs.
- Launch coverage and tech news — new phones, laptops and hardware, with pricing and availability, and a clear note on what is confirmed versus rumoured.
Every article is written to stand on its own: an honest explanation, the context that matters, and a clear takeaway.
Who writes it
technew.cloud is founded, written and edited by Prasanth Kumar, a technology professional with over 10 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, cloud computing, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD and infrastructure. Alongside that work he writes about smartphones, laptops, graphics cards, gadgets, AI tools, and the technology and products he researches, uses and evaluates. The site started as a way to write down the explanations he found himself giving to friends, family and colleagues — the plain version of things usually buried in spec sheets and product pages. He is based in India.
How we work
- We check facts before publishing. Specifications, model names, dates and prices are verified against primary sources — the manufacturer, the official documentation, or the seller’s own page — and articles are dated so you know how current they are.
- We say when something is uncertain. If a detail is a rumour, unconfirmed, or changes often, we label it that way instead of stating it as fact.
- We update articles. When information changes materially, we revise the article and update its date rather than leaving stale advice online.
- We are not sponsored. No manufacturer or retailer pays for coverage, and nothing is featured because of a commission.
- We correct mistakes. If we get something wrong, tell us via the Contact page and we will fix it and note the change.
How the site is funded
The site is supported by advertising and by a small number of affiliate links. If a page links to a retailer and you buy something after clicking, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you — it never changes the price you pay or what we recommend.
